K.H. Lee Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd started out by providing rental services for JCB and excavation works. After about 2 years, the company became a subcontractor for telecommunications and Singapore Power Grid Projects (formerly known as Power Utilities Board). The company became corporatized in 1992.
 

The company's areas of expertise include civil works (e.g. installation for OGB, pedestals, construction of manholes), cabling works (e.g. laying of high tension, low tension and optic fibre cables), engineering works (e.g. cable spicing, jointing and termination), specialist works (e.g. detection of underground service, road milling, and patching, opening of trial holes), and sales/rental/repair and maintenance of construction machineries. All machineries and equipments used for the execution of works are acquired and owned directly by the company.


The company has been accredited with the ISO 9001 and 9002 certificates as well as the BizSafe Star Award.

The company continues to be a key contractor with the Customer Projects and Regional Project West Sections of Singapore Power Grid Ltd in cable installation and diversion works. Presently, the company is also involved in private projects and the laying of telecommunication pipelines for Nanyang Technology University campus’ optical fibre network.


Looking forward, the company aims to be a turnkey contractor with complete in-house capability in design, supply and construction, specializing in utilities installation including but not limited to power cables distribution network, telecommunications, gas pipes, water pipes and other associated engineering works.
